Jeremy Benton - Broadway: Last seen performing the role of Billy Lawlor in 42nd Street (with Shirley Jones) Film: The Producers (with Uma Therman and Nathan Lane) National Tours/Regional: 42nd Street, Irving Berlin's White Christmas (Original Cast Recording) Kennedy Center's Mame (with Christine Baranski) Premieres: Aesop & Company (with Josh Grisetti), The Witches of Eastwick (with Marc Kudisch), Lone Star Love (with Randy Quaid), ACE (with Emily Skinner), Ken Ludwig's An American In Paris (with Harry Groener), Stormy Weather (with Leslie Uggams), Backwards In High Heels (originated the role of Fred Astaire), and Reel To Real: The Movies Musical (Co-choreographer and originated the role of Jack Cheever in the Beijing debut/Edinburgh Festival). Jeremy was invited to perform at BTV's televised Global Gala earlier this year, where he performed Singin' In The Rain beside his childhood idol, Gene Kelly (a hologram, of course). He recently completed a successful run of a new musical, CAGNEY!, where he originated the role of a young, tap dancing, Bob Hope. Other career favorites include: Bobby Child in Crazy For You, Don Lockwood in Singin' In The Rain, Pat Gilbert in State Fair, and Harry Bailey in A Wonderful Life. Jeremy will be premiering in the new musical PEG O' MY HEART this summer in the Midtown International Theatre Festival in the role of Jerry Adair. He will also be returning to the Taiwan Opera House this fall to choreograph and play Billy Crocker in Cole Porter's Anything Goes.
