About Jeremy graduated from Brunel University and has a PhD in the field of tin-based fire retardants. He is a Chartered Chemist and a Member of the Royal Society of Chemistry. He joined the International Tin Research Institute, now ITRI, as a Graduate Chemist in 1988, becoming New Projects Manager in 1998, coordinating innovation.
Jeremy launched Soldertec Global as the world’s first lead-free soldering technology centre in 1999 and coordinated the EU project ELFNET - the European Lead-Free Soldering Network.
He is now responsible for ITRI’s Technology team - creating and managing a portfolio of technology projects that will impact tin demand.
