Test Results Test Code Reference Standard / Specification Test Requirement ResultMount “Adapt A Bracket” in 60° position, fixed on one side, the comparison green ROOF N’TUFF bracket on the other side. A 4’ board will be fixed on the two brackets Apply the force at center of the board between the brackets. Start force at 250lbs increasing to 1600 lbs or failure of the brackets Test at ambient Temperature of 20° C Client requested test method Measure deflection, horizontal and vertical, of the brackets at 50lbs intervals. Plot deflection vs. force curves. (include photos of setup and any failures / major deflection) Meets Comments: Both the sample and the comparison metal bracket performed well and did not fail
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY & CONCLUSIONThe sample and the comparable metal bracket were installed onto a simulated roof section and loaded to 1600 lbs. In both 45° & 60° modes the samples performed well with less deflection than the corresponding steel bracket.4278630234950
