How YOBI World Can Help Your Non-Profit Organization - Presentation Transcript

    1. The Socially Conscious Social Network: How YOBI Can Help Your Charity, Humanitarian, Activist, or Non-Profit Organization
    2. What YOBI Is
      • YOBI is a network of websites that combines three of today's most popular trends:
Social networks such as MySpace and Facebook, User-generated videos and images such as YouTube and Flickr, and Reality talent contests such as American Idol and America's Got Talent.
      • Instead of chasing production crews around the country, standing in long lines waiting to audition, and hoping to nab one of the handful of spots on a network television reality contest,
talented individuals from around the globe can join YOBI and upload into one of our many contests videos or images that display their talent.
      • These videos and images will be viewed
      • These videos and images will be viewed, commented on,
      • These videos and images will be viewed, commented on, and voted on by members of the YOBI community
      • These videos and images will be viewed, commented on, and voted on by members of the YOBI community, who act as the judges in all of our contests.
      • Contestants are also encouraged to create a YOBI profile that highlights their talents, interests, and achievements.
    3. What YOBI World Is
      • The YOBI network, however, also has a social conscience.
Our YOBI World site is intended to raise awareness of and to work toward solutions for the issues and problems that impact our local, national, and global communities.
      • To achieve this goal, we want to educate our members about organizations like yours that are involved with these issues and problems.
      • We believe that education can inspire compassion, that compassion can encourage involvement, and that involvement is the key to creating a secure, healthy, and just future for us all.
    4. YOBI World Profiles
      • We invite you to create a YOBI World profile for your organization to educate visitors to the YOBI World site as to the work that you do.
      • This profile will allow you to give an overview of your organization, as well as explain your mission and message.
      • You can upload your logo or a photo, and provide a contact email and a link to your website so that visitors can learn more about you.
      • YOBI also invites you and members of your organization to post blogs, upload vlogs, and participate in our United Nations discussion forums.
