Living from the heart by nirmala moving from the head to the heart

  1. 1. Living From The Heart by Nirmala Moving From The Head To The HeartThe spiritual Heart within each of us is the true source of love, peace, joy, wisdom, strength, and fulfillment. Everything that really matters is foundwithin our own Being. Living from the Heart leads the reader gradually anddeeply into experiences of this inner wisdom and capacity for love.Readers can follow the pointers and exercises in the book and directlyexperience for themselves the limitless joy and love in their own Being.Discovering that everything that really matters in life is already here insideof us is profoundly freeing. What a relief to know that peace, wisdom, andfulfillment are always available if we just know where to look for them. What a gift it can be to the world when we discover that we can freely giveour love and attention to everyone we encounter without ever running outof love or attention. The first part of the book, From the Heart: Droppingout of Your Mind and Into Your Being introduces the reader to the spiritualHeart and the capacity it gives us to look out at the world with an open, loving, and complete perspective. It offers simple ways to shift into a moreopen and accepting perspective and to experience your true nature as
  2. 2. aware space. The second part, The Hearts Wisdom, shows how theHeart is truly wise and how it can guide us in everyday decisions. Thissection points the reader back to his or her own Heart, the truest source ofwisdom. Finally, the third part of the book, Love Is for Giving, Not forGetting, shows a simple way to love in a truly unconditional way. It guidesthe reader to discover that the true source of love is in your own heart. It isby giving love that we are filled with love.Personal Review: Living From The Heart by NirmalaI just finished reading Living from the Heart. What a wonderful book. Thechapters on "Love is For Giving" were mind blowing. "What if it doesntmatter what your awareness touches but only that awareness is flowing" isradically transformative. It means it is all worth loving. It means that peaceis right here in every moment. It means that I can be in love all the time byjust allowing my awareness to flow to what is before me. I tried theexercises and they were amazing. It is true, deeply moving, just plain oldfun and even silly to experience that when I gave love to the cold metallicmetro train pole that I could feel in my hands and that was supporting me, Icould be filled with a sense of love and incredible gratitude. Its like I woke up in a new world this morning. Its like a wonderful gamewhere I get to play with giving love to all that is around "me" as it appearsbefore me, even the hardships. I feel like it could change everything fromhow I will walk to talk to eat. I will do it all with awareness, space, mindfullness, presence and love. I will change not because someone istelling me to do something more "moral" or "correct" but because it isdeeply satisfying to surrender into being an instrument of love. Its theultimate perfect equation where the more you give of love the more youfeel of love.
