FOL: Course Expectations

 1. 1. Course Expectations
By Jen Hegna
2. 2. Students are responsible for the honest completion and representation of their work, for the appropriate citation of sources, and for respect of others’ academic endeavors.
3. 3. Show Up!
The learning process can not happen without you. In an online environment, we will learn just as much from you as you will learn from us!
4. 4. Discussion Board: Get in the habit of posting your primary post EARLY in the week. This allows you to get more peer feedback and have more time to respond to the ideas generated by the discussion.
Last Minute
Posting
5. 5. Take Risks!
Flickr Photo by allythacker
For some of you this may be your first online experience. Sometimes you will have to try things you have never done before! Take the plunge – its will be ok!
6. 6. ASK QUESTIONS!
We are all learners here. Don’t be afraid to ask me or anyone else questions. Need clarification? ASK. Having trouble with an assignment? ASK. Want to know more information about a topic? ASK.
7. 7. Relax and Have FUN!
Flickr photo by Plucker
Having fun while learning is an amazing experience so by all means…Allow yourself to do so!
