Writing & LanguageAll writing should reflect 6+1 writing traits: ideas, sentence fluency,organization, word choice, voice, conventions, and presentationSpelling homework and tests will alternate with vocabularyhomework and tests. Usually homework will not be sent on shortweeks.Vocabulary will often come from science concepts.STAAR test in writing will be given at the end of March students will write one narrative and one expository piece students will also have to answer multiple choice style questions over revising and editing
