  • No prepayments until August 30th. Students must bring money per day until that point – will be giving change back to kids if they bring more than the cost of one meal.
  • Safety – talk about not parking at church and dismissing as a walker (when really a car rider), walk with a buddy, etc.
  • Discuss homework expectations briefly – read nightly (will be turning in log of “RAH” (read at home) time for a grade.) and a short language practice that will be discussed in class. Writing/journaling 3-5 times per week is encouraged as well to prepare them for writing expectations – even informal diaries or journals are good.
  • Next slide is a picture of the blog.

      Follow directions the first time they are given.
      Keep hands, feet, and other objects to self.
      Speak to and treat all others respectfully.
      Move from place to place in a quiet and orderly fashion.
      Come to school prepared and on time.
    • 9. Reap What You’ve Sow
      Conduct is measured over the course of a week on a 100 point scale.
      Behavioral infractions = 2-point loss
      No homework = 4-point loss
      Every student starts each week with 100 points/A+ as their conduct grade.

      Success Tickets can be earned at any time by any student
      Success tickets are drawn randomly and students choose a prize
      Prize donations are appreciated!!!
