  • Getting Kiva lenders involved
  • Kiva is great…
    But there’s not a lot of interactivity
    Most of the communication is one-way
    Loan profiles, pictures
    Journals
  • Lenders want to talk to borrowers
    And Kiva fellows can make that happen
    Journaling is the key
    Journals go straight to lenders’ inboxes, and lenders can respond (to send their questions to fellows)
  • Super SimpleKivaFellow-mediated Q&A
    1) Send out a journal for a borrower you’ll visit
    Tell lenders you want their questions
    2) Lenders reply to journal with questions
    3) Tool collects questions; print them out, and ask them to the borrower
    4) Report back with a journal entry (completing the loop!)
