Monday Notes from Jeff McNeill For week Monday, Aug 27 through Sunday Sep 2, 2007
Progress
Folksonomy project advancing through hand-designing wiki pages, commitment to gdata as the transport platform and the focus returning to microformats (note: ILL book now available at the library)
Turning focus on the adoption/diffusion issue to legitimating the research need (need to find this in the literature)
Setting up appointments with appropriate faculty for discussion
Spent time on the Seven Wonders presentation
Problems
Work on cultural archetype is languishing, need to push out
Overall schedule for courses not yet charted out (as usual)
Realized there is a time conflict with the Jou150 talk and a workshop on assessing academic programs talk at IMIN center, on 9/14
Need to finish O, E, and W focus designation applications by 9/7
Possibilities
Raised topic of longitudinal learning outcomes/success factors with Kelleher, he expressed interest
Need to see if U&G is a decent theory base to address adoption/diffusion
