  • From a high level offers 3 hardware product lines – it MR Wireless AP line, MS Managed Gigabit switch line, and MX Security Line (fits in the fast growing UTM market providing traditional firewalling features like site-to-site VPN and client VPN in additional to Content Filtering, IDS/IPS, Anti-Phishing/Virus, and IDS/IPS). Additionally, Meraki has a FREE MDM product that is integrated into the same dashboard as the MR/MS/MX product lines and allows you to manage and configure PCs, Mac, iOS, and Android devices. All of the Meraki hardware products as well as all of your MDM managed devices are controlled and configured through Meraki’s Dashboard in the Cloud. This allows you to manage and configure anytime, anywhere.
  • Meraki’s Out-of-Band architecture allows you to manage and configure an unlimited number of locations anytime and anywhere. From a security prospective, none of your network traffic passes through the Cloud Hosted Management – all that is communicated to the cloud is the management data that I will demonstrate in our demo.
  • In addition to ease of use and breadth of management visibility, Meraki offers simplicity in the way it is purchased. When you buy Meraki, everything is included: Multi-site/product management, all current features, all future developed features, 24x7 support, and Advanced Replacement.
  • PerhapsMeraki’s greatest impact on customers is its high-velocity feature development and automatic new-feature delivery through the cloud. Meraki is constantly iterating on its management feature set to keep up with the rapidly changing IT challenges. As a Meraki customer, you will receive all new features for FREE via zero-touch cloud-pushed feature updates. This chart represents some of the major features BYOD-specific features that Meraki has released, for free, to its customers.
  • New features are pushed out on a quarter basis – and sometimes even more frequent than that. This chart narrows in on the first half of 2013 to demonstrate feature velocity.
