Theater Director in the San Francisco Bay Area, John DeGaetano takes a stab at creating a new twist to a courtroom drama, however everything you’ve ever known to expect from a somewhat strange screwball comedy is here as well. Read the synopsis here and then look for the book on Amazon. There's light-hearted adventure, a touch of romance and jealousy, and of course a bit of silliness. The story moves quickly, with an array of twists and turns guaranteed to please everyone who joins in. Simple set requirements and suitable for all audiences.

    • ONCE UPON… A CRIME The Play Available on Amazon andjohndegaetanoproductions.com
    • The Concept:Everything you’ve ever known toexpect from a somewhat strangescrewball comedy drama. The character Sam Wilson, attorneyattempts to solve a case that goesbeyond what he can remember, asthe story twists and turns right infront of his eyes. However his eyesaren’t the problem… it’s being anattorney again after a serious accident. The characters are memorable asyou’ll grow to love them in a storythat touches lightly on politics andwhat may or may not be socially acceptable.
    • The story is based in the great state ofWashington in the small town ofFerndale – population 12,000… that’swhere it all begins. In this classic-style courtroom play theaudience does not really know"whodunit" until the climax of thestory. A legal thriller, on the otherhand, usually reveals that informationat the beginning or makes it clear thatit doesnt really matter who did it somuch as whether he or she is guilty. So as we move along, the plot focuseson whether justice shall prevail.Expect to be thrilled and amused, then ever so slightly surprised.
