  • 3. Reason for Making an Outline
    An outline gives you a rough guide to writing your paper. You are bringing together a great deal of information into several pages, so your organization is key.
    You are not bound to your outline for your paper, but it is a place to start.

  • 6. Option to Do as a Popcorn Outline
    Thesis in the middle
    Big circles shooting out with your people/characters/groups representing your subtitles.
    Smaller circles shooting out from each subtitle representing paragraphs under each subtitle.
    Final circle for the conclusion with circles shooting out with a restatement of your thesis, a discussion on the importance of leadership, and a final universal statement.
