    • 4 years of college.
    • Have your bachelor degree.
    • Might want to go for your masters because you will have more job opportunity.
    • Many classes such as lots of English, math, social studies, psychology, sociology.
  • 3. Working Conditions
    • If you are a social worker you will be working inside, usually behind a desk.
    • Usually social workers work inside offices and schools but there is some that rent out there own building and work independently
    • You will also be working with all different sorts of people and things.
  • 4. Job Details
    • With this sort of work you must have good people skills.
    • You will be working with people of all different ages and issues all the time.
    • You must help figure out wants going on with them and help them get through it.
    • There is also a lot of paper work involved so you must have decent writing skills.
  • 5. Hours Hours Hours…….
    • One good thing about being a social worker is the hours.
    • You will most likely work a 7-5 but some times you might have to work over.
    • Some that work in a school setting will work the usual school day hours.
  • 6. Money Money Money
    • Wages all depend on where you live and where you work.
    • The average wage is 53,000 a year.
    • The higher wage is about 64,000 a year.
    • Depending on your work ethic you might be able to get a raise.

    • How many jobs do you think there is for social work?
    • There was about 595,000 in 2006.
    • You must enjoy learning and understanding peoples issues.
