  2. 2. Education <ul><li>4 years of college. </li></ul><ul><li>Have your bachelor degree. </li></ul><ul><li>Might want to go for your masters because you will have more job opportunity. </li></ul><ul><li>Many classes such as lots of English, math, social studies, psychology, sociology. </li></ul>

Working Conditions <ul><li>If you are a social worker you will be working inside, usually behind a desk. </li></ul><ul><li>Usually social workers work inside offices and schools but there is some that rent out there own building and work independently </li></ul><ul><li>You will also be working with all different sorts of people and things. </li></ul>

Job Details <ul><li>With this sort of work you must have good people skills. </li></ul><ul><li>You will be working with people of all different ages and issues all the time. </li></ul><ul><li>You must help figure out wants going on with them and help them get through it. </li></ul><ul><li>There is also a lot of paper work involved so you must have decent writing skills. </li></ul>
  5. 5. Hours Hours Hours……. <ul><li>One good thing about being a social worker is the hours. </li></ul><ul><li>You will most likely work a 7-5 but some times you might have to work over. </li></ul><ul><li>Some that work in a school setting will work the usual school day hours. </li></ul>
  6. 6. Money Money Money <ul><li>Wages all depend on where you live and where you work. </li></ul><ul><li>The average wage is 53,000 a year. </li></ul><ul><li>The higher wage is about 64,000 a year. </li></ul><ul><li>Depending on your work ethic you might be able to get a raise. </li></ul>
