Reading/Math Program In elementary grades K-5, there is a test called: The Star Test to determine the level the student is on at the beginning of the semester to help the teacher know where to begin or how low the student is at that time. At the end of the year the students will take the test again to see what level he/she has achieved.
4. SuccessMaker This program is for the student to develop math and reading skills at their own pace. The student will read the story and take a test and if they are not successful they have to redo it. Math is also done the same way but it also shows you how the problem should have been worked.
5. Read Natural The student has to read the story three times with less errors each time. The fourth time the teacher has to listen to them read and give them score. The student is also required to read the story and give a short summary about the story. Once the system states that the student has passed the teacher has to put her/his initials so that the student will progress on.
6. Keyboarding programs For special education students there are special programs for them to practice typing so that they make complete work that is legible for the teacher.
7. SchoolNet This is a program for teachers to place there lesson plans for the week or month. These plans may also be viewed by others who may need some ideas. This program also allows for you to see all of the students’ information such as: Grades Discipline problems Address/phone numbers Assessment testing overall averages

9. Go Sytems-Special Ed This allows the teacher to see what school they came from What IEP’s were given before There address/phone number Who there parents are What disability they have What test they should be taken
10. Overall Technology is something that will never be grow old but will always come up new and better ways of doing it the first time. There will always be the new and improve software to help with the old or to replace.
