  1. 3. Digital ink leaves a mark in the mind... so go leave your mark! H ave you ever thought of how to use tools like YouTube, Voice Threads, Blogs and Wikis in your classroom? This session will focus on integrating SMART with web 2.0 into everyday teaching practice.

  3. 9. How does SMART fit in?
  4. 10. You are able to export slides as image files Insert an image from your SMART lesson right into your blog You can upload a slide show of your full lesson to slideshare
  5. 11. When you're in SMART Notebook, go to file, export as PowerPoint. Save it in a file where you will be able to find it again! Then sign into Slideshare
  6. 12. Sign up for an account
  7. 13. Click on "My Slidespace"
  8. 14. Click on the slideshow you want to upload
  9. 18. Do your students have SMART at home? They should, and here's one reason why!
  10. 19. Create folders Upload Files
  11. 20. Right click on a folder to get the widget
  12. 23. Paste html into box Save
  13. 25. You can do the same things with a Wiki!
  14. 27. You can upload images, slide shows, and files
  15. 29. Using Voice Threads with SMART Notebook
  16. 30. You need to log in or create an account
  17. 31. All of your Voice Threads will show up under "My Voice"
  18. 32. Go to the Create tab to create a new Voice Thread Upload your video
  19. 34. Embed Voice Threads right into yout blog, wiki or web page Link to Voice Thread Tutorial (Joan's Wiki)
  20. 35. Using videos with SMART
  21. 36. Copy the URL
  22. 37. Paste the URL here Then download
  23. 38. Select this one (as flv)
  24. 39. Click on save
  25. 40. Name your file and ALWAYS end with .flv
  26. 42. File: Set output folder
