Main Issue <ul><li>Fresno Unified is one of the largest district in California. Student’s enrolled are faced with high drop out rates and a low rate of student enrollment into post secondary education. </li></ul><ul><li>“ Fewer than 25% of students attend college and fewer graduate - the rest are left feeling unaccomplished or dismayed”( Report and Recommendations) </li></ul>University Outreach Services
Who is the Population At Risk? <ul><li>Students at risk come from economically disadvantaged Families </li></ul><ul><ul><ul><li>poor, single-parent families. </li></ul></ul></ul><ul><li>Students who are English Learners </li></ul><ul><li>Student who are not aware of the resources available. </li></ul><ul><li>Students who Do Not feel Inspired or Motivated. </li></ul><ul><li>Students who do not know the requirements and deadlines for applying for College. </li></ul>University Outreach Services
Agency’s Mission <ul><li>Recruit high school students work towards enrolling them into Fresno State </li></ul><ul><li>Represent the university in various community programs, and events </li></ul><ul><li>Provide information about how to apply for college. Inform students of the procedures needed in order to be eligible to attend CSU Fresno </li></ul>University Outreach Services
