The rather thick leaves are nicely crispy and have the advantage of remaining firm long after being picked. Iceberg lettuce makes a beautifully crisp, fresh and tasty base for salads.

Cauliflower is an excellent source of vitamin C and a moderately good source of folate Cauliflower is available round the year in India.
