  • 10. By using cmd + you can zoom into what you are working on This principle of design work allows to work in detail on a layer. cmd - allows you to zoom out. This feature allows to look at the overall layout a useful short cut!

  • 12. Building Layers Once you understand the principal of layers you can then start adding as many as you want.

  • 16. How do I add an image? Simply choose file and open the image in Photoshop
  • 17. You will now see two files open at the same time Note the file extension has automatically the same code. Hint: always check the file types are the same otherwise they lack compatibility
  • 18. Then simply drag the image onto your front page 1. Select the Move tool 2. Click and drag the image onto your front page.
  • 19. The image on your front page is now ready to be transformed By transforming a layer you can scale and manipulate the layer itself
  • 20. Go to the Edit command and select Transform Then select scale
  • 21. By selecting shift on the keyboard and then dragging the layer across the page you can resize the layer without pixelating it Click and drag from here
