Frederick Douglass was born in 1818... a slave.
  His master was like a father to him.
His master took care of  Douglass and had fun with Douglass all the time...  
He took care of  Douglass and had fun with Douglass all the time...   Until he went to live with his grandma.
With 11 other kids.
For only one year.
Because he got sent to live with Aaron Anthony.
Then he got sent to live with the Aulds over in baltimore.
He asked Sophia Auld (Mr.Auld's daughter) to teach him how to read and write.
  She started to teach him but they did not get so far because Mr. Auld broke it up.
Later that year Douglass was told that his mother (Harriet Baily) past away.
After that he tried to escape.
He failed

Then the Aulds traded Douglass to Mr. Covey
Covey was not a nice master.

So Douglass tried to run away.
