2. INTRO
The broadcast starts with an intro sequence of different frames of the
studio and news readers. Its just under 10 seconds and has a digital
timer at the bottom of the frame counting down to 0. The intro
montage includes various camera angles. It also had background
music which creates impact.
3. NEWS REPORTER INTRO
At the beginning of the bulletin it shows the main news presenter,
Ros Atkins tells us the main headlines and what stories they will
be showing us. The clip of the newsreader lasts about 8 seconds
before it changes to a cut away of the story. The news reader is
sitting behind a desk, with one of the upcoming stories image
behind him.
4. MAIN STORIES
The first thing the news reader does is tell us the
main stories that have happened and the most
important this includes field reporters who are at
the scene telling us more information.
5. INTRO 2 (LOGO)
After the main stories have been covered there is
another intro which shows the BBC logo and has
intense music this is to tell the viewers the news
reader will be explaining the stories in more
depth.

6. MAIN STORY 1
Cuts away to different montage clips with real footage of
the French government. News reader Mark Doyle in West
Africa.
It then links to studio to Christian Fraser to tell us more on
the story.
7. NEW STUDIO
Returning back to Ros Atkins he tells us about
the new studio he is reporting from called
‘Broadcasting House’. All of the BBC News
global journalist are together behind him.
Cuts away to another reporter giving a tour of the
new facilities for BBC News staff. Broadcasting in
28 different countries.
8. MAIN STORY 2
International rescue committee. Atkin’s then cuts away to
Leben where another news correspondent carries on the
story with more information.
9. SPORT NEWS
The studio background changes to a sportsman,
it then goes to an interview with him.
