2. INTERCULTURAL LEARNING-CULTURAL COMPETENCES

General Project activities
This project will have two key strands of activity. These are:
Developing intercultural learning resources appropriate for adult
education and diversity people management
Establishing a network of training practitioners committed
to promoting the use of intercultural learning resources. (know-how
transfer)
3. 2. THE GOAL of the project
to create a network among teaching institutions, adult education centres,
adult trainers, universities, learning facilitators, educators,
HR professionals, business companies that focuses on the issue of
“intercultural learning” in Europe, falls within this coherent strategy for
lifelong learning.
4. 3. THE PROJECT WILL BE FOCUSED IN 2 FIELDS
ADULT EDUCATION FIELD: how different experiences, definitions,
ideologies and educational practices can be used to improve the quality of
intercultural learning and teaching in Europe. This intercultural learning
implies cultural competences or skills in the project.
BUSINESSES FIELD: To identify the relevant cross cultural
competences
implied in diversity management initiatives
5. To achieve the overall aim of the (INTERCULTURAL LEARNING – CULTURAL
COMPETENCES) the project will identify 2 specific thematic related to the concept mentioned:
Exploring teaching and learning methods, which relate to intercultural learning,
training-pedagogical aspects focused in multiculturalism. I.e.: working with
