  16. 16. 20 18 15 15 14 6 Wifi (Spain event) More Publicity (all locations) Clearer pitches Better Deep Dives Better sponsor tools Fairer Competition Post-Event Results: What is the one thing we must do better? Total of 40 Responses In Madrid we had a WiFi problem, if we’re at the same location next year there will be fiber (we ended up on LTE and ADSL). More publicity is clearly required. Fairer competition reflected the variety of hacks being on show, which will be solved through grouping into 2 main categories of 24 hour hacks and a service innovation showcase. We also had a couple of mentions of making the hacks clearer to understanding – we need to ensure everyone follows a clear process in presenting their hacks.
  17. 17. Post-Event Results: What is the one thing we must do more of? Total of 35 Responses People loved the satellites and want more on them, all locations generally liked the food. Though a couple demanded pizza and beer as it was a hackathon. On Prizes most people liked that we gave many prizes, through 20% would prefer 1 or 2 large prizes. My opinion is we keep the approach of lots of prizes to encourage as many people as possible to contribute, the ones who would win the big prizes will likely make it in the market anyway, so better we share the love. 12 11 11 11 9 9 Satellites Great food Global Telecoms focus Prizes Great locations
  18. 18. Post-Event Results: Did you get what you hoped out of TADHack? Total of 40 Responses Yes, this is a self serving chart, but it was nice to see we achieve 100% satisfaction even given the hiccups and areas for improvement. 40 0 yes no
  19. 19. 18 9 6 2 Social event after prizes More telecom novices X-Satellite teams Better filtering of ptiches Post-Event Results: What is missing from TADHack? Votes The most common feedback was the need for a social event after the prizes, people wanted to socialize and share after the intense event. We should plan on some wrap-up event. Interestingly people wanted to explore x-satellite teams, i.e. people in Madrid and Sri Lanka coding together on a hack. Other feedback on team composition recommended mixing telecom novices and experts.
