Mother’s Day Acrostic created in Microsoft Word
This is a Roughriderarain A Roughriderarain lives in rocky Regina right near rocking roller coasters that rock around. A Roughriderarain eats chunks of Rapid City, rugs, rugby players and chunks of Russia. A Roughriderarain likes riding, rain, rinks and rings. A Roughriderarain ran to buy some rockets for me when rodeo was riding and ruling. Roughriderarian poem created in Microsoft Word
Public Service Announcement Storytelling Photo Story 3 or iMovie PowerPoint or KidPix
In this poetic tale, beautifully illustrated entirely with wildlife photographs, the animals of the deep woods awake, after a winter storm, to the news of a stranger lurking in their midst. The deer, muskrat, mouse, rabbit, cardinal, porcupine, and many others sing a song of excitement about this strange, yet friendly creature with the carrot nose. And after the animals discover the feast this wondrous snowman has to offer, the children who built him vow to replenish their snowman's facial features until winter has long faded away. An example : Stranger in the Woods Carl R. Sams II & Jean Stoick "The birds were the first to notice... Stranger in the Woods! Stranger in the Woods!" ICT Tools to support a book

Write as many words or phrases as you can think of that describe the scene. One helpful strategy is to consider each of your senses. Imagine: What is happening inside the house? Write an opening paragraph for a story using this setting. Consider this work of art Winter Solstice by Pennsylvania artist, Jeff Martin.
