Jugo de maracuyá La fruta de la pasión, como también es conocida, se exporta como pulpa simple de maracuya (14 a 15º Brix de concentración) y pulpa concentrada congelada de 50º Brix, en tambores metálicos de 230 Kg. de peso, tanques de 55 gls o baldes metálicos de 18 Kg. de peso. En la década en análisis la exportación ha pasado de 1461 Tm. a 2,274 TM y en valor de US$ 1.5 a US$4.5 millones. Los principales mercados de destino han sido: Holanda y Estados Unidos. Los principales competidores en el hemisferio Sur son: Ecuador, Brasil, Venezuela y Colombia.
