1. Shall I Compare Thee To A
Summer's Day
Sonnet 18
William Shakespeare
Shall I compare thee to a summer's day?
Thou art more lovely and more temperate.
Rough winds do shake the darling buds of May,
And summer's lease hath all too short a date.
Sometime too hot the eye of heaven shines,
And often is his gold complexion dimmed;
And every fair from fair sometime declines,
By chance, or nature's changing course untrimmed.
But thy eternal summer shall not fade
Nor lose possession of that fair thou ow'st;
Nor shall death brag thou wand'rest in his shade,
When in eternal lines to time thou grow'st.
So long as men can breathe or eyes can see,
So long lives this, and this gives life to thee.
2. Peace
The wind is now
a roaring, smashing
Monster of destruction,
Raking all man's work
From the valleys,
From the vales,
And sends them spinning,
Broken flying -
But all of that is
Not its core,
Its center is in truth
Eternal stillness
Bright blue skies
And all you hear
Are gentle whispers
Far away
And un important.
3. Precious memories
By: Janine A San Jose
You cannot change the time
To change what you’ve done wrong before
You cannot bring back the time
To try the other decision that you do not take
And you cannot bring back the time to change all the
negative things that happen to you
And for me it is the reason on why is the time is gold
But even if you cannot change all of the tings that
happen before at least you can remember the things
that you’ve done that will serve as an inspiration and
as well as lesson to your life
And that is memories” a precious memories”
