Never before have so manyheads of State committed to such a comprehensivedevelopment agenda.In addressing human conditions of existence, such as povertyand gender equality, the MDGs focus on fundamentallychanging the everyday realities on the ground.The MDGs are concrete, measurable and attainable goalswith specific targets within a framework of accountability.The MDGs emphasize the roles of both rich and poor countriesin facing challenges together, as a global community.
