  4. 4. First school established by PAREF (Parents for Education Foundation),a non-stock, non-profit organization of parents
  5. 5. Inspired by the teaching of St. JosemariaEscriva de Balaguer, the Founder of Opus DeiParents to be fully involved in providing their children a Christian education
  6. 6. Woodrose pioneered home-schoolcollaboration and the mentoring system in Philippine education.
  7. 7. Woodrose is not only a school for the children, but is also a school for their parents.
  8. 8. Mentoring is none other than “life coaching” which research studies have shown to provide extensive benefits in a child’s growth and development:1)  improved self-concept,2)  an increased self-discipline resulting in improved academic skills, and3)  a greater ability to translate values into productive actions.
