- What is Design?
- While an artist has the freedom to create art echoing his/her own self-expression, design is made possible only through technical training. It is an analysis of a problem (function) which results in an aesthetic outcome (form). A good design is sympathetic to its end user and will always put forth the 'function' before 'form'. This is true for all disciplines in design.
