  • Instructional Brochure (Manual) – group project and presentation <br />Brochures Due: March 31<br />Presentations Due : April 7 (last day of class)<br />Part A – Brochure Manual - Group project (Due March 31)<br /> Your work group is giving a workshop for others in your field, and you have been asked to develop an instructional brochure to be handed out after the workshop. <br />The brochure should be attractive and include graphics, appropriate amounts of white space, and graphs/charts/pictures. It should be a reminder of the steps to follow and why they are important. Choose one of these topics:<br />
    • Procedures to follow during an intake interview
    • Procedures to follow if a minor reveals sexual abuse
    • Procedures to follow if a woman reveals spousal abuse
    • Procedures for dealing with clients who become violent/abusive
    • Procedures for dealing with telephone inquiries that could violate privacy laws
    • Procedures for anything that has come from your practicum or work experience
    • Length: 2 sides of 1 page in brochure format.
