  • Begin by discussing what the students know about citizens and community to construct a KWL chart. Guide the discussion so the children are giving all of their ideas about the subject.
  • Good citizens:>respect others in the classroom>always do their personal best>treat others the way they would like to be treated-be nice, take turns, and share>do not fight with other citizens if they get mad at each other-work with teacher and others to solve problems
