Revolve: A small object revolving around a bigger object
Rotate: An object spinning on its axis
8 planets have been found in our solar system
Mercury, Venus, Earth, and Mars are the inner planets
Jupiter , Saturn, Uranus, and Neptune are the outer planets
The differences between inner and outer planets are that they are separated by the asteroid belt, and the inner planets are closer to the Sun, are smaller, are solid spheres of rock, and are often bombarded by asteroids and meteoroids while the outer planets are further away from the Sun, bigger, and are less often attacked by asteroids and meteoroids
More craters are found on the inner planet because they were constantly bombarded by asteroids and meteoroids during their first 600 million years in existence
Orbit: A specific path followed by a planet , satellite, etc.
3 requirements to be considered a planet are that the object has to orbit around the sun, have enough mass so that it becomes round due to its own gravity , and have cleared out of its orbit path around sun .
A dwarf planet is the class of object that meets the first two requirements but no the third
