The 2013Annual Grand Recital is scheduled for Sunday June 9, 2013 to beheld at the beautiful stand alone Bienes Art Center at St. ThomasAquinas High School located at 2801 SW 12th St., Ft. Lauderdale33312. (JK will be closed that day so those lessons need to berescheduled). Please let us know ASAP if you are participating so wecan finalized the hourly seatings & ensure we have enoughtrophies/metals for each participant. Seatings are based on studentages from oungest to oldest running from 1-9 pm withpreschool/elementary ages in the afternoon and middle/high school inthe evening. Siblings can be accommodated in the same seating andare encouraged to perform in duets. Unlike in-house recitals whichonly focus on particular teachers & instruments, the Grand Recitalincludes all instructors & instruments. Participation is only open tocurrent JK customers in good standing. Students must also have JKteachers approval to participate as performance space & time slotsare limited. In addition, there is much more room to accommodateadditional family & friends than for in-house recitals. The ticket cost is$12 per person in advance (including parking) or $15 at the door.Each ticket will be entered into a raffle for a free week of summercamp! There is no cost for performers. Attire is semiformal.

Originallyfrom Columbia, he is alsotri-lingual in English,Spanish & Portuguese.Juan began his studies atthe Columbian NationalConservatory of Music.He graduated with aBachelors Degree in Musicfrom the University delBosque de Columbia. Hefurthered his studies atthe Sonarte School ofMusic, focusing onadvanced drums andensembles. Juan alsoreceived a MastersDegree in JazzPerformance in BuenosAires at the Conservatoriode MPB de Curitiba,where he also taught andperformed.
