  • Thanks for taking time out on a Tuesday afternoon to attend the second GAMC Singapore. My presentation today will focus on the resources one can use to learn more about Google Analytics – resources which can be used not only by someone who just got started with Google Analytics but also by someone who’s an advanced user. Also, just as a FYI - these slides would be available later for your reference
  • As we’ve all seen in all the earlier presentations that GA has come a long way since it’s inception. This makes it important for us (the team) to have a updated spectrum of Help Resources to keep track of all the steady updates for our users. From a support perspective a user has varied options to learn more or just get answers to questions one may have about the product. Starting with Help Centre then moving on to the bit more advanced user forums, blogs so on and so forth.
  • What is Google Analytics? Where can I find a basic implementation guide to Google Analytics? What kinds of reports are offered by Google Analytics?
  • The Help Center is an excellent guide for someone just starting with the product. It gives a comprehensive list of articles dealing with Installation, reports, and so forth. It has also a Installation Guide which will help you successfully setup GA on your website.
  • User forums is a good resource for getting answers to questions which are not available in the Help Center. These could be issues affecting all users (data latency) or just a localised problem (local browser issue) at your end. The forums are moderated by Inhouse Specialists and also power users who are proficient with the product.
  • Both product and support teams maintain updated Blogs to let our user know about the current developments with the product.
  • This is the official Google Analytics blog. Watch out for product updates, announcements, tips and tricks on using the product effectively here.
  • And we also have our very own official GWO Blog. Again find updates, announcements and GWO tricks here. You can also find links to our GWO Authorized consultants here.
  • Videos are an effective way to learn more about the product. The GA and GWO Youtube channel lists videos helping you understand both basic and advanced topics.
  • The official channel for all videos about and related to Google Analytics. This channel has a Web Analytics TV series providing insights on GA by Google Product Specialists. As you see our GA evangelist Avinash Kaushik in conversation with Nick.
  • The official channel for all videos about and related to Google Website Optimizer
  • Need : Agencies and other organizations have an increasing need for individuals who are skilled in Google Analytics Solution: Provide free quality training for their employees and other individuals who want web analytics skills Provide a test that allows organizations to identify qualified individuals
