Instead, I tend to think we'll see 'crystalisation', where vendors start to more clearly differentiate themselves, targeting specific markets rather than 'anyone who will pay for the product'.
So that might mean a cluster of products for media-rich marketing websites, another for intranets, another for local government, etc, etc.
Unfortunately this will be an organic process, and therefore slower and more uncertain that all of us would like... 4 years ago Reply
