WHAT IS AN IPAD?? The iPad is a tablet computer that is lightweight and mobile. The iPad is only a half-inch thick, and weighs only 1.5 pounds. It is approximately 9.5-inches tall and 7.5 inches wide. Basically it combines the best features of a notebook or netbook computer and an iPod touch.
