Do It Differently - the key to marketing

  1. general introduction We are a small company but growing - we want to recruit both social media and emerging tech and ensuring we are socially responsible Forgive me. Wrote this one week ago while kids were at their sports activities and still amending now. Ultimately following three core elements though - People, Passion and being a little particular - my son got confused. Please do tweet during this presentation so ensure your phones and babies are turned on.
  2. Be particular This is just something I came across recently and I like to think about it from time to time Just important to remember that you don’t have to be everywhere and appeal to everyone. Be particular. Refine your message to your core areas. Story - pick three and work them hard. This is how I use it. For me Facebook is personal and only key business people Twitter is educational and for engagement with influencers - mention Klout Google+ is for branding on external platforms e.g. social SEO and PPC - also to take the power out of the platform LinkedIn is strategic Pinterest and Instagram we are just starting to pick up on in a big way……….because……..

Find your niche and then find the niche of that niche - this is one of the most important things I could ever pass on It is all about ensuring your personal brand recognises you as the expert in that field - you want people to associate you with that area of expertise. STORY - Virtual Reality and technology Marketing for real estate - why it interests me and how I recognise that it is a niche TALK ABOUT BRINGING THE NEXT GENERATION THROUGH, CSR ETC
