  • As a marketing trainer I use to ask my students What is Quality? Can we own quality? Can we posses quality? Can we impose quality? What can we do about quality? In our business. And our business is education and training. Quality is about performance. Who’s performance? All VET stakeholders performance…The model we have here seems to be approaching the quality framework from a static, a top-down approach…
  • We have considered a different approach for quality.Quality is about performance we said, we need a model to reproduce motion…Now when I talk about motion I am talking about how the responsibilities in this quality model are shared during the performance of this machine. It is clear in this model, that the overall performance will depend on the individual performance at all times, if one part of the machine underperform, the machine also underperform, and we could imagine some interesting scenarios here:If the size of the parts will affect the performance, the stress in any part of the machine may affect the performance in the long term, the changes in forces or acceleration at one end of the machine, will produce an impact on the other end a few times greater. And we think that is how our system works. We need a strong AQTF: current, relevant. We need a strong National regulator: fair, consistent. We need strong RTOs: capable, committed, business with a Mission, Vision, Goals, Values clearly identified with education and training.
