These are some of the exhibits that NCG created for the recently won case here in SD involving a child riding a skateboard who got run over by a trash truck. The exhibits involve 3D imaging of body scans, multi-trauma and artist renderings. Our legal design team was able to put together a series of images that told the whole story of this boy's trauma. The exhibits were created for attorneys Courtney Yoder and Stephen Estey without type but we have left the type on for the presentation. 3. NCG was able to obtain enough images from the MRI to create a
3D Model of the brain.
From there we can move down layer by layer. On the right, we
enhanced the image to show where the blood was found.

the De-gloving, but by creating a 3D image from the CT, NCG was
able to show where the skin had been removed by the wheels of
the trash truck.

powerful
At NCG we like to combine factual images
like CT, MRI and plain films with the artist
rendering. Some 3-D images compiled from
body scans are very powerful on their own
and some need enhancement by the artist
for the jury to understand.
This case was presented without type. The
expert and the attorneys described the
injuries themselves allowing the images not
to be lost in a sea-of-type.
