    • 5 stages of Facebook grief
Confusion: What is it? What is it used for?
Discovery: Find old friends, reading what they say on news feed makes you feel connected.
Utility: Can use it for jobs and a more convenient form of communication compared to email, phone calls, etc.
Embarrassment: Too much personal information is put up
Withdrawal: Realization nothing is private, diminished use of Facebook or account deletion
    • Online Safety
When you agree to Terms of Service or Privacy Policies you give websites consent to use your information
      Commercial information for advertisements
      Governmental information
Best thing is to watch what you post online
      Nothing is private online
Once something is put online, it can never be fully removed
    • Conclusion
Social media websites are a great way to keep in touch with friends, get your voice out there, and to use as a campaign tool
Users should be careful on what they put up online though
Things are not as private as they seem and nothing on the internet ever fully goes away
