    • After seeing the original Star Wars movie he quit his job as a truck driver to enter the film industry

    • He started as a miniature model maker at Roger Corman Studios
    • He soon was an art director in a sci-fi movie Battle Beyond the Stars (1980)
    • His first Directorial Job was on the movie Piranha in 1981

    • Became his most famous film
    • Budget was 237 million and
    • Grossed over 2.7 billion world
    • Wide and became the highest
    • Grossing film of all time
    • The 3D imaging he used was
    • considered a break through in cinematic technology
    • Also was nominated for 9 academy awards
    • Won for best cinematography, best visual effects and best art direction
  • 8. Recurring Themes
    • Cameron uses recurring themes throughout his movies
    • His more famous ones deal with nuclear holocaust, humanity repeating mistakes, strong female characters, romance subplot and anti-military and corporation
