    Design an intelligent sensory platform (TIS) to provide physiological and context information of patients undergoing clinical therapies.
    Develop new processing techniques for interpreting the data (Neural Networks, HMM models, Genetics Algorithms)
    Apply these new techniques in Context-aware tools for the therapist
    Our group intends to develop the knowledge and technology to get new Ambient Intelligence Scenarios for the next decade: E-Therapy concept

    It has been designed a proprietary protocol .
    Our intention is to correlate the activity with the accelerometer and heart rate vs. indirect calorimetry (FITMATE PRO)

    It has been designed a clinic protocol for testing TIPS in obese children
    Two groups of 20 children (male/female subjects 10±4 years)
    Detect not only active states but the sedentaries states like seating on the sofa or lying on the bed
    Cuestionnaries for detecting physical and diet habits and ergonomy are complained at the end

    Momentary results shows two first conclusions :

    Wireless sensory platform such as TIPS will allow the development of multiple scenarios of Intelligent Therapy
    Environments where the user receives an individualized treatment and where the environment interact in a smart manner with the user(AmI)
    Therapist will have valuable information to assess the status of their patients and the effectiveness of therapy
    Next steps: Testing the validity and feasibility of the platform in all application scenarios described
