FMA’s History <ul><li>Established in 1970 </li></ul><ul><li>The FMA is a global leader in developing and broadcasting knowledge about financial decision making </li></ul><ul><li>Over 3,000 professors and professionals view FMA as an educational experience as well as a professional resource. </li></ul><ul><li>The mission of the FMA is to: </li></ul><ul><ul><li>broaden the common interests between professors and professionals, </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>provide opportunities for professional interaction between and among professors, professionals and students, </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>promote the development and understanding of basic and applied research and of sound financial practices, </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>and to enhance the quality of education in finance. </li></ul></ul>

FMA at UCF <ul><li>Our Chapter was founded in 1997 </li></ul><ul><li>We currently have 75 active members </li></ul><ul><li>We are a designated “Superior Chapter” according to FMA International </li></ul><ul><li>FMA, UCF chapter received the award for “Most Increased Membership” (nationwide) in 2007-08 </li></ul>
