State of the Art • Centralized production and transport network already very well equipped and monitored • Not the case at the decentralized level (distribution network, micro grid, local producer, consumer …) • Numbers of smart grid experimentations • Information Technology infrastructure ready • optimization software are mainly used at the R&D level
  • 5. Existing Works • A lot of academic works: optimization (technical or economic criteria) • Smart grid experimentations: equipment, energy storage, renewable energy, smart metering • Smart Grid Architecture Model (CEN, CENELEC, ETSI) • …

  • 7. Approach • Provide solutions to implement any use case at any level of the electric grid: – Use of communication standards – Common data exchange protocols – Share of existing functions (open source) • Merging the progress of existing works with optimization algorithms distribution
  • 8. Objectives/Deliverables • Providing a software integrated development environment for smart grid: interoperable applications, and tools (testing, configuration) • Among them targeting most of user cases • Service Oriented Architecture
