  • 6. Growing Beyond Expanding to year 5 (9- 10 year olds) enabled the club to run after we left...
  • 7. Obstacles: Getting a grown-up to supervise & Getting access to 20-30 computers with Scratch.
  • 8. Planning: - When we planned we felt extensive planning complicated the lesson. The broader we made our weekly theme and block, the simpler it would be. - We split the group into three.
  • 9. Requirements? • At least 45 minutes – hour per week. • An open and friendly response to questions. • A curiosity to learn. • An adventurous mind.
  • 10. “Tips”: - The ratio should be around 1-4 “teacher/s”: 20-30 students to maximize focus for the students. - Planning before a session helps it run more smoothly. - Avoid talking, just let the students use the computers.
