Target Audience iPhone App Preference Looking at a few iphone screens of people in my class I then came to a conclusion about what sort of apps people, in my target audience for my game, would buy. You have you obvious social networking apps and fast food apps. I feel like these apps that I have chosen are a fairly close representation of what my target audience would already own in terms of Apps.
  4. 4. Drugs There is no mechanics or scenes within “Snake Escape” where Drugs are referenced or taken. Copycat Behavior In terms of behavior that could infl uence children I think there isn’t much in the game that would be deemed infl uenceable behavior more like behavior that would deter. Language For one thing there is no dialogue in our game. So this category does not apply to our game. Nudity Again our cartoon style always has Jimmy clothed therefore this does not apply to our game. Sex There are no sexual scenes or any sexual references in our game. Violence The violence in our game is actually minimal. The violence is done in cartoon style and there isn’t any blood. The impact of the snake bite (sound effect) is what caused people in our alpha test to be scared. Threat This is the category which I believe causes our game to be pushed up the rating scale. The fact that you can only see part of where you are going and the sound design is constantly suggesting that you are in danger makes this game basically one prolonged horror scene. Reminiscent of the game Limbo
