  1. Who AreWe?The NOC Alumni is founded in 2003 and has a huge network of entrepreneursthat lives in major entrepreneurship hubs in the World. NOC is a year-longprogramme where students immerse themselves in leading entrepreneurshipand academic hubs, such as Silicon Valley, Stockholm, Beijing, Shanghai andmany others. Members of the NOC Alumni have since then made tremendousimpact on the local entrepreneurship scene, creating numerous startups thatare fast growing and highly scalable. We are also committed to developingentrepreneurship in Singapore, and have organized many nationwide eventsthat promote entrepreneurship.
  2. Startup Weekend is an event where anyone is welcome to pitch their startup ideaand receive feedback from their peers. Teams organically form around the top ideas(as determined by popular vote) and then it’s a 54 hour frenzy of business modelcreation, coding, designing, and market validation. The weekends culminate withpresentations in front of local entrepreneurial leaders with another opportunity forcritical feedback. The objective is to launch their startup over the weekend.
  3. MissionStartup Weekend is a global grassroots movement of active andempowered entrepreneurs who are learning the basics of foundingstartups and launching successful ventures. The non-profitorganization is headquartered out of Seattle, Washington butStartup Weekend organizers and facilitators can be found in over150 cities around the world, where they gather for weekend longworkshops to pitch ideas, form teams, and start companies.
