According to Whrrl.com, “Whrrl v2.0 is a storytelling application for the web and mobile that lets people share and remember their real-world stories as they happen. Remember to Listen, Respond, Converse, Share and Brand. Listen Whrrl combines the best features of two major social networks. It’s like Twitter (but with photos), and like Flickr (but instantly accessible). Respond Whrrl lets you capture experiences as they happen and organize them into a lasting story through photos, location and text. Converse By connecting with friends on Whrrl, you can see their live stories on a map. This map pinpoints the location from which your friend is broadcasting pictures. If you want Whrrl for iPhone, there are three ways to connect: 1. Visit the Apple App store and do a search for Whrrl. Download the app from the App store. 2. Go to www.whrrl.com and enter your phone number in the Tell stories on iPhone widget. This will send a download link to you via SMS. 3. Visit www.whrrl.com/getwhrrl on your iPhone. Whrrl 101 Whrrl and the iphone Whrrl has created an app (short for application) for Apple’s iPhone which allows users to post their photos and stories to the web directly from their phone. The app also now allows users to very easily post status updates and photos as well as comment on the postings of others. The app has been well received by critcs as being user-friendly and easy to navigate.
