Welcome to our powerpoint about eclipses! By Seth and Brant
There are two types of eclipses: solar and lunar.
Lunar eclipses are more common than solar eclipses.
A solar eclipse happens when the moon passes directly between the sun and the earth.
A lunar eclipse happens when the moon passes through the earth's shadow .
There are two ways an eclipse can happen.
There could be a total eclipse or a partial eclipse.
A total eclipse is much rarer than a partial eclipse.
When there is a lunar eclipse the moon turns a reddish color.
It is caused by a bending of sunlight caused by the earth's atmosphere. ,
But this only happens when there is a total lunar eclipse.
Hope You Enjoyed Our Powerpoint! Bye!!! :)
