• 1. 7 Quick CHANGEOVER SOLUTIONS FOR YOURPROCESSING LINE
• 2. 1. Removable parts
Sanitary conveyor designs can offer removable parts such as wear strips and roller returns which allow for improved sanitation and better access to the conveyor frame.
• 3. 2. Chain lift devices
Chain lifts provide quick access to the conveyor frames for cleaning. Conveyors using plastic chain or continuous belt can be engineered with a chain lift or belt release device.
• 4. 3. Removable food contact components
In the case of this lowerator engineered to transport large blocks of chocolate between floors, the stainless steel carriers are easily removed for cleaning.
• 5. 4. Clean-in-place systems
Systems like this cantilever frame design that utilizes a food grade belt is often cleaned-in-place. The ceiling mounted C-shape design allows for ease of access for maintenance and cleaning.
• 6. 5. Portable conveyors
Access to all areas of the process is critical. Portable conveyors can be engineered for high level sanitation; after cleaning it can be easily moved to other areas of the line.
• 7. 6. Pull out assemblies
Ergonomics and efficient cleaning process have driven many innovative sanitary solutions, like this pull-out auger for cleaning, and it slides back into place for production.
• 8. 7. Engineered access
In this case, if you can’t bring workers to the conveyor, you bring the conveyor to the workers. This pneumatic counter balanced conveyor is engineered to lower for cleaning.
